Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio School

Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio is a 13-19 mainstream Studio School based in Darwen. We specialise in Creative Digital Media, Technical Digital Media and Care sector studies

We are part of the North West cluster of the Aldridge Education Multi-Academy Trust. We are a small school catering for young people of all abilities.

Alongside GCSEs, BTECs and A Levels, the Studio offers a specialised curriculum, developing students’ employability skills and engaging them with local businesses. We offer a balanced curriculum with the opportunity to specialise, and wherever possible we engage students in ‘real life’ activities as part of their learning.

Our Specialisms

The Studio’s KS4 curriculum enables students to study core GCSE subjects of English Language, English literature, maths and combined sciences. Students then opt to follow a specialist pathway of option subjects in certain specialist areas
