Meet Our Governors

Anne Crook

I'm a mum of 3, my professional background is mechanical and electrical engineering which led me into computer build and repair, sheet metalwork engineering and industrial electrical installation. Following that I went into purchasing and qualified with CIPS.

After my eldest child was born I  started volunteering at the local sling library, I'm now the manager there and a fully trained babywearing consultant and breastfeeding peer supporter working closely with the infant feeding team and the council.

As a governor here, I want to support the school to be the best that it can be and I will continue to support, challenge and question the leadership so we can continue to improve and grow

Daniel McManamon

A parent to three children who attended school in Darwen. I am currently studying a PGCE on route to become a qualified Maths teacher and currently work in a curriculum development and improvement role for an Independent training provider.

I joined the DAES governors team to try and share my experience and make a positive difference to the school which will hopefully benefit the students and enhance their school experience.
