Arrangements for consulting parents of SEN students regarding educating their student

There are 3 formal assessment points, throughout the academic year, when an academic progress report and attitude to learning are shared with parents. Each year group has a parents evening calendared throughout the year.  Teachers are encouraged to keep parents updated of changes to attitude to learning and fluctuations in progress, as and when necessary.  Parents are welcome to contact the staff at DAES, at any point to make an appointment to discuss concerns or questions. EHCPs are reviewed formally through the Annual Review held each year, with all professionals and parents being invited to input & attend.
