Arrangements for consulting students with SEN regarding their education
At DAES we believe that it is really important that students play their role in ensuring their educational is successful. Regular student voice is gathered, formally and informally throughout the year. some formal methods include the use of online surveying, student panel and student interviews, whilst informal methods will include regular check ins with Form tutors, Learning Support Assistants and Curriculum level feedback. Student voice is also gathered as part of the creation of the Student Profile at the start of each academic year. Students with an EHCP will have their voice heard formally, an additional twice per year when their ILP is reviewed and in preparation for their EHCP Annual Review.
